Ostrich is red meat endorsed by the American Heart and Diabetes Associations as a healthy alternative to beef. Ostrich is “Alpha-gal” friendly. Ostrich meat has more Iron and less cholesterol than any other red meat. Ostrich is high in protein and low in fat and calories. We suggest cooking our tender filets and gourmet steak ground medium rare.
